Pythons

Pythons are non poisonous reptiles found in tropical areas. Some species can get quite large, while others are no larger than an ordianry garden snake. Pythons are eaten in some countries. It's very popular to keep a python as a pet. Pythons do not normally attack humans unless they are agitated, handled badly or generally provoked. The smallest is the ant-hill python, which is about 23 inches long. The biggest is the reticulated, which  grows up to 33 feet in length. Reticulated pythons can weigh up to 250 lb. The females are normally bigger than males.
